Braided monday

Little sleepy head slept in again...I had to wake her up at 7. She had a good night, no waking up and no big battles at bedtime...guess she was just a little sleepy this morning.

We had a pleasant morning too. She finished off a box of cereal and didn't battle me for anything. She asked for a side braid and a big braid in her hair for swimming and sat still while I gave them to her.



Some mornings are so pleasant...

She did say she didn't want to go to school, because she wants to stay home and see daddy...but I convinced her school would be more fun than sitting at home waiting for Nick to come home.

She was happy to get to school and see friends. Especially one friend whom she thanked in person for a fun birthday present.
