...Ellie wanted to show me the picture she drew in school of Mommy. Now we have a mom & dad pairing hanging on the refrigerator.
After that it was nothing but games on our way to the bus stop. Ellie dragged me along the sidewalk, pulling my hand as her little legs ran, saying, "Come on you-ee. [Yes, "you-ee".. just as it sounds. Don't know where she got that.] Go faster!"
Then at the bus stop, once she got herself unstuck from my leg...
...it was Hide & Seek & Chase around the light control box.
As you might have guessed, she sort of squealed every time I found her.
Then.. once down at Schraffts.. we took a trip inside the spinny door for the first time in a long time since we had some time to kill. Ellie asked if she could have some of the decades-old candy that is on display. She wasn't too disappointed when I said "No."
