Poof the Rain Away?

That's what I would do if Ellie's magic wand held true power. Instead of the shovelable snow other parts of the state are seeing, we here in Boston are stuck with a cold, yucky rain. I'd much rather have the snow.

May as well be a sunny day for Ellie, though. She woke up excited to hear the rain on the roof and her windows. I hear in the monitor, "It's raining outside, Daddy! I can use my umbrella! Yea!"

Downstairs Ellie was also excited to point out it is also Show & Tell Day and Pizza Day in school. She chose to bring her magic wand to show her friends...

...but was less than excited when I tried to "poof" her into the sun so she could come out and dry up all the rain.

She was plenty happy it was raining.. despite it also being cold and windy.

Inside school Ellie showed me the picture her teachers took during the preschool class's mini-field trip to the playground next to the Schraffts Center. They went on Tuesday.. when it was sunny and in the 50s. Looks like we're talking 60s for next week, though. That'd be nice.
