The last Friday of every month, Ellies school work product gets sent home. Well, because we got her early to catch a flight to Chicago last Friday, her work wasn't ready to pick up. So I got it yesterday.
Her teacher explained to me that Ellie was VERY excited to show is her work product.
And that was an understatement.
As soon as I got home yesterday with all her work she wanted to tell us about every single paper. Apparently I started asking too many questions about her math work and she started to clam up.
But when we got to her drawings...well, every single one had a different story, premise, people, etc. they are very detailed and very interesting.
This morning I spoke with her teacher about how excited she was about her work. Her teacher relayed that all her math work is typically 5 year old work and its impressive she can do the 100-board and write numbers 1-100 without help. She also said that her drawings were impressive and so detailed. She said she concentrates very hard and really enjoys drawing to convey a story.
No she isn't only doing math and drawing at school. But her booklet of writing of words isn't finished yet so we will have to wait to see that.
