Tongues of Fun

This morning as Ellie was enjoying her customary yogurt (black cherry today) she told me, "I pretend to be a froggy. I have a long, long tongue! Ribbit!"

Yeah.. that's just her spoon. After breakfast we got ready to go outside into the slightly but noticeably less frigid air. At the bus stop Ellie wanted to show off her new mitten clips that Santa put in her stocking. She is a big fan of them. "I have mitten clips so I don't lose my mittens on the bus or at school."

Getting off the bus Ellie was very polite expressing her gratitude to the driver, who thought it was pretty funny, "Bye-bye, bus. Thank you for dropping off me at my school." Once at school Ellie pretended to ear her Show & Tell item for the day -- the apple that came in her shopping cart full of groceries from Santa. However.. she was quick to tell me, "This is not a bad apple like Snow White's. This is a good apple." That's good to know.

Inside preschool Ellie was excited to greet her good friend Meara who just moved into the classroom. Then Ellie got busy building "a rocket ship" with some cool cube blocks that can connect to each other on all four sides.

I asked her where that rocket ship was going to take her.. and she said "to California and Chicago on vacation." Always on her mind.. vacation. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
