This morning as we were playing Ellie was pretending she had a boo-boo on her forehead -- no actual boo-boo occurred. And.. while she was holding her Boo-Boo Fishy (ice pack) to her head she said, "Look, Daddy. It's my eye pad." I don't think she's heard of Apple's invention before.. technology must just seep into kids' consciousnesses nowadays.
Then at school Ellie and her friend Marley collaborated to come up with a pretty inventive activity. They pulled out wood blocks, put on helmets (hard hats) and pretended they were ice skating -- sliding around the carpet on the wood blocks.
Looked like a fun time to me.
