Tagging Along & "Puppet Mommy"

This morning Ellie and I had somebody tag along with us on our trip to school -- Suitcase Baby (so named because she came attached to a little, play rollerboard suitcase Ellie got from Santa). Ellie told me that the baby told her that she wanted to come to school for Show & Tell today.

As we waited for the bus Ellie saved baby from falling between the chairs outside Grasshopper to the sidewalk below. "Baby got too close to the edge," she said.

After the rescue Ellie gave baby a big hug.

Then it was time to teach baby how to ride the bus. "It's her first time. See, baby? You have to sit on my lap and hold on very tight."

Then at school Ellie told me about a puppet show the preschool class is going to have today. The friends spent part of yesterday making their puppets.. with Ellie drawing a "puppet Mommy."

Sure enough.. it says "Ellie's Mommy" on the back. I can see eyes, a mouth, arms, legs, and a belt. Pretty good. I wonder what silly things Ellie's Mommy will do during the puppet show...
