I told you so

Well, Ellie slept in which made for not as relaxing a morning as she would have liked. Not enough play and more of a task oriented morning.

So when I asked her if she used the potty and she said no. Then ran away and returned 10 seconds later saying she was all done...I knew she wasn't telling the truth and just wanted to cross something else off her to do list.

I told her that I she didn't go now she would have to later and maybe miss something fun at school. She declared she had already gone and didn't have to go.

Sure enough...as soon as we got to school she ran for the potty.

And sure enough, while she was washing her hands, her friend arrived with a new toy. Which she wouldn't get to play with for very long because he had to put it in his cubby. I hate saying, "told you so..."



She was excited to show me the Halloween decorations in the classroom.
