Group decision making

When Ellie got to school two of her friends were already working on an enclosure for one friends unicorn toy. Ellie and another friend immediately jumped in to help with the decision making for the enclosure.

There were discussions on how wide to make the pen, how tall, could all the colors be used, should colors be grouped, could a plastic encased bug (boy sharing toy) live there too if it is a nice bug, how would the unicorn get out, where was the food going to go...all the important things. It was really fun to watch them.

Also they worked together including one counting and making sure all the rows were the same length and others counting out new rows.

Good teamwork kids!

Ellie has a dentist appointment this afternoon...daddy is going to take her.
