Happy May Day!

It may be May but it was very foggy and chilly this morning. (Its okay, it'll burn off and be nice and hot for swim lessons this afternoon.) Ellie remarked that she couldn't see the mountains and that was "weird".

What else is weird? Well it seems like all of us have our biorhythms off or a bit cattywampus (technical term). I fell asleep on the couch, didn't set my alarm, and therefore I overslept and was totally disjointed this morning. I never fall asleep on the couch!

Nick and/or Ellie left her lunchbox at school yesterday so Ellie had the "funny" lunchbox to take to school.





However, in big news I was able to convince Ellie not to wear her Uggs to school. I told her it'll be too hot for Uggs, and without her usual arguments against wearing other shoes, put on her purple shoes and off we went.
