Reading in Bed

Usually Ellie wakes up around 7 am (if its not an early work morning) and as I'm already up and getting ready. I usually hear her get out of bed and go to the bathroom and then back to her room or the playroom for a few minutes until she finds me.

This morning I didn't hear her, see her, or have any indication she was up and by 7:30 I decided to see if she was still sleeping.

Nope. She was reading her new favorite book in bed. She wasn't too happy to see me...









But we got up, dressed, put on sunscreen and headed to school.
There she was happy to see her friend and they set out to make funny animals. There is a new toy which appears to be cardboard animal bodies, legs, tails, and ears and you get to mix and match. Think an elephant with bunny ears. Ellie was pretty creative and made her friend laugh with her funny animals.
