At school she was excited to see her friends a set up to play tea party or something.

We had a good weekend. One of the highlights was yesterday morning. My company has volunteered to make lunches once a month for children in a shelter. So we all pitch in and grab one item for the lunch, then we will compile the lunch bags and someone till take it to the shelter. This month I was in charge of drinks or juice boxes. Ellie was a little bewildered by the large amount if juice boxes in the dining room waiting to be taken to work. I explained what we were doing and how it was for kids who were less fortunate.
We god a great book from the library which we all loved. One side plot has a little girl giving her cake up to a "scruffy" boy who used his last bit of bread to help the girl catch a bird. Ellie likened what I was doing to helping the kids and got all excited. I also explained that these kids don't have cool lunch bags like she does and asked if she wanted to decorate some lunch bags. She was pumped. She spent quite a bit if time with brown bags and stickers decorating. I was impressed.

We also made ice cream yesterday, but this post is too long so you'll just have to wait for that.
