One thing that makes me laugh is her comebacks, when I ask Ellie to do something and she argues back or doesn't listen to words I remind her of the consequences. Lately she has taken to shouting my own consequences such as, "if you don't call me sweetie (my pet name for her) I'm not going to hold your hand ever again!" Then when I remind her she has to hold my hand in parking lots and across the street she comes up with other consequences like, I'm not her favorite mommy, she will only play with daddy and my newest favorite, she'll never sit with me on Space mountain again!
Well, we eventually made it to school, with sunscreen and shoes on. Although she had a messy mouth and face because she had to eat in the car (arguing with mommy takes up time and you don't get a relaxing breakfast at home...)
