Halloween Hangover?

Last night we had a blast. Ellie had her first true trick-or-treating experience with a group of friends (well, her teacher's kids and their cousins) in our neighborhood. She got some serious candy loot.



This morning she had a VERY hard time waking up and getting started for the day. But once she had some English muffin in her she was happy to be at school. Oddly, she has been asking to eat in the car, even when we have time to eat at home. I asked her why and she said she is bored eating at home and likes to look out the window and listen to Mommy's radio (NPR for 4 year olds?) That's fine with me, we leave earlier and I get to work a little earlier. And she is eating her whole breakfast.

She was excited at school to see that it was a new month. "It's November mommy! We had Halloween and we are closer to when the baby comes!" She certainly is excited about having a baby in the house.
