Remember when Ellie was really little and uses to freak out if her hair got wet in the rain or blown around too much in the wind and would cry, "my pretty hair! My pretty hair!"? Well, it's back. Ellie has become kinda obsessed with her hair lately. Wanting braids at night so it's not tangled, braids during the day so people comment on it, etc. She does have pretty hair, but I don't want to start her obsessing over it this early.
Anyway, she insisted on braids last night and wanted to keep them in this morning for school. When we got to school she said, "mommy, my hair is pretty today in braids. Can you take a nice picture of me with my pretty braids?" Then she went and sat on the stairs for a portrait.
