Silly Stroll

This morning Ellie asked to ride in her stroller to school.. and since it's a nice, warm morning (and since it's about to get rainy and cold) I was happy to walk.

As we were making our way down to school Ellie told me she wanted to play a game. "We play funny face game!" Sounded good to me.

Ellie started: "I make this face!"

Pretty good. I came back with my own face that made her laugh.

Then Ellie was up again. "I do this face now. It's funny!"

She had a funny, low-pitched voice to go along with that one, too.

Then the next face came with a silly high-pitched voice.

It was a pretty fun game, I have to say.

Ellie also impressed me with some alphabet knowledge a little bit farther down the road. "Ellie has an 'E.' My name starts with 'E.' 'E' for Ellie! 'E' for Eden, too! Eden has an 'E.'"

Eden is one of Ellie's preschool friends. So.. either Ellie is really starting to get a hang of recognizing letters.. or she and Eden had a discussion about how great the letter 'E' is at some point.

Ellie also told me, "'D' is for Daddy!" Right again.
