Half early morning

So I had to head to a site visit so I took Ellie a little earlier than usual to school. She didn't seem to mind too much though.

Once we got there we first noticed that the painted lady butterfly caterpillars were getting really big. Probably soon big enough to move to the butterfly house.



Then she was excited to see her teacher bring in a new classmate. Praying mantis' (not sure how to make a plural of that one). So currently they are all in this big egg thing that will hatch and supposedly there will be a lot if baby insects. Not sure if that means dozens, or what. But should be pretty cool.


So it was an interesting morning at school.

And no, because it was an early morning she did not put her own cream cheese on her bagel. But she did hang up her own sweatshirt again...let the independence continue!!
