Should I care?

Ellie got herself dressed this morning. She really wanted to wear her flower jumper which is a tank and I require her to wear a shirt with it. And in her mind its winter and maybe will be cold so she grabbed a long sleeve shirt. The shirt has flowers on it so technically it should match right?

So it's a horrible outfit. Nothing matches. She will probably be hot because its going to reach a high of 80 today. But this was what she really really wanted to wear. Since she was just going to school I didn't say anything.



Should I really care what she wears as long as its weather, school, and activity appropriate as long as she's happy?
