Friday of a holiday week

Well we had a great Independence Day. Great family time, good food and good laughs. That's what it's all about right?






Yes, Nick is sleeping. Like I said on the blog post, it wasn't the most entertaining parade we had ever seen.

Unfortunately, whatever Ellie had last week...mommy now has. Bad head cold, low fever...yeah I'm not going to stay long at work. And it also meant it took all my energy to get out the door with Ellie. I made the decision that sunscreen was more important than her usual breakfast of a scrambled egg and a peach, so she got a cereal bar on the way to school.
