Wednesday of a holiday week

It's "blue, white, and red" party day. I had a cute outfit picked out for Ellie, her new blue and white jumper with a red shirt. But apparently someone (ahem, daddy) had a bit of an influence on her and the outfit I picked out was deemed unacceptable (joke is on them...she'll wear my outfit tomorrow!). She wore her red Blackhawks shirt and blue and white stripped skirt, yeah, no influence from Daddy at all there.



Yesterday, we went to a food truck event up in Altadena. It was part of the Altadena fireworks and holiday celebration. Nick and I went to the lobster food truck where I got to have a lobster roll which was almost as good as those in Boston. Nick had lobster tacos...how LA. Ellie on the other hand (who had already had dinner) had a GIANT snow cone. And below the big giant snow cone was a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
