Nice dress!

As soon as Ellie showed her new dress to both her teachers this morning they have her compliments. That made her happy. After she said thank you she said, "this used to be my daddy's shirt but he broke the sleeve and my mom made a dress."

Yep. I made this dress from one of Nicks old shirts.









Pretty awesome huh? Yeah, I'm proud of this one.

She then showed me some more work. She's really interested in reading right now. Last night she asked me to "teach her to read all her books". So lately we have been reading some primers or beginner books. Anyway back to school.










She then sat down to do some coloring... Of a Christmas tree. Gotta love summer school when they pull out all the leftover seasonal stuff for the kids!






And a bonus... Last night she was playing with her doll house. She set up a classroom and all the kids had to sit in a circle on the floor while the teacher sat in a chair.
