Christmas & Cousins

Those were the things on Ellie's mind this morning as we were getting ready for and going to school. She spoke at length about how much she likes Santa and about how she wants to visit "Grandma, Grandpa, and all my cousins" on an airplane.

"I have a cousin William, and a cousin baby Caroline, and a cousin baby Tristan. I know all their names! I want to give them a hug."

Before leaving Ellie ate up an entire bowl of Cheerios with blueberries and carefully applied today's chap stick.





At school Ellie spent a while practicing her penmanship.. tracing around a few letters and numbers on those little magnetic drawing boards.



Then it was off to the magnet table with Chadwick. The discussion there was about how it's "not nice to pull hair or hit or kick or push," but that "tickling is okay 'cause it's funny."
