Sweet Inspiration?

This morning, after we had a little fun playing up in her room, Ellie said she wanted to make "some cupcakes for Mommy and Daddy and my friends."


"I make special treats like Mommy." It appears Ellie has taken a liking to the holiday season not only because she likes Santa.. but also all the goodies we get to make and eat and enjoy.


She set up all of those little cupcake molds on the table, pretended to fill them with cooking stuff (going back and forth from the kitchen grabbing imaginary handfuls of ingredients).. before stacking them up and putting them away nicely.


Once at school Ellie helped teach me how she says you're not supposed to use a table. "You don't lay on a table like this, Daddy!" I told her she should take her own advice.. and so did her friend Eden who was watching.





Right before I left Ellie went to go match shapes on the kiddie computer. That's when I discovered an Ellie wearing big headphones is an Ellie who speaks REALLY LOUDLY. She practically yelled "bye-bye, Daddy!" to me. Guess a little too much noise may be cancelled out by those headphones.
