Stuffy Sniffles

It appears Ellie has a little cold working this morning.. but she isn't letting it drag her down. We had the usual fun at home this morning -- Ellie helping me feed Mallie, then enjoying her own breakfast -- before heading out to the bus stop.

While waiting, and between sniffles and tissue wipes, Ellie and I decided it would be fun to have breakfast at the Grasshopper on Saturday morning (maybe around 8:30.. if you're interested, Susie).





Once at school Ellie did a great job following through with her wish to donate a little stuffed elephant she got at the Charlestown Christmas Tree lighting yesterday to Toys for Tots. She knows it's going to a little boy or girl who doesn't have any toys at all this Christmas.



We all got into the holiday spirit over the weekend. Saturday night we went out for a Mexican food dinner then up to the Stone Zoo for Zoo Lights -- where they light up the entire place. We liked looking at all the lights.. and some of the animals who were still awake.. but Ellie's favorite part was the round-and-round horsies.
