Capping it Off

Ellie decided to cap off a week of morning trips to school with a rather wise move. As we walked downstairs she said to me, "It's sunny outside. I wear my princess hat. I don't want too much sun in my eyes."






So.. as soon as we got downstairs Ellie put that cap on.. and was proud of her idea the whole trip to the bus stop and into school. A lady we passed outside the Schrafft's Center even heard Ellie's ongoing explanation of how the sun is bright today and why she was wearing her hat.. and complimented how sharp Ellie is. On the way down our block Ellie snagged a rock from the big driveway and stuck it in her pocket.









Grasshopper has some more fall decorations out.. and Ellie got a kick out of the scarecrow they have in one of their flower pots.
