It's Off to School We Go...

This morning Ellie and I had a fun time marching to the bus stop singing "Heigh ho, Heigh ho.. it's off to school we go..." When we got to the whistling parts I whistled, and Ellie did her trademark "tooting."

"I can't whistle, Daddy. I do this, 'Toot toot toot toot toot toot-toot-toot.. Heigh ho!" The crossing guard at the crosswalk thought Ellie's marching was about the cutest thing she's ever seen.






Before hopping on the bus Ellie helped me drop a couple letters in the mail.



Ellie also unleashed a rather hilarious chestnut during an emergency potty trip to the Schrafft's Center. I commend her for realizing she had to go pee.. and she did a great job washing her hands and everything.. but when we were leaving she got a pretty crazy idea. "I go out the spinny door, Daddy. You stay in here! Okay? Bye-bye!"

Nice try.

Instead of me staying in the spinny door we had a good time Heigh Ho-ing the rest of the way to school.
