Jumping Off Point

This morning Ellie spent a good amount of time reading her little princess books -- and, of course, singing all the songs she remembers from the corresponding movies.






Thankfully it isn't very cold outside because we had some time to wait before a bus finally came.. well behind schedule.

Ellie took advantage of the down time by spending some time up in the air. She did several jumps off the apartment building's step near the bus stop. "Look at this, Daddy. I can jump high and far now. Watch me!"





















Each jump went for about the same height and length, but she had a good time.

After getting off the bus, Ellie's classmate Joe spotted Ellie and I walking into school.. and the chase was on. They giggled as they scampered down the sidewalk, into the grass near the Schrafft's Center, and after carefully crossing the road.. holding their daddies' hands, all the way into the preschool room where they hung up their name snowflakes on the attendance board.
