Before leaving home Ellie had fun jumping in some small rain puddles on our deck.
We got an early start from home and took a ride down to Foodmaster. But.. Ellie's riding wasn't done there. Or.. driving, if you ask her.
Yeah.. I let her ride in one of those shopping cart / car combos since there was hardly anybody else in the store and we weren't going to get in any one's way. Needless to say, Ellie loved it. Hopefully I haven't created a monster.
While making our way through the aisles Ellie decided.. "I want to bring Oreo cookies for my friends!" I didn't even know she liked them having only had any once, but I guess they must have made an impression.
We wound up finding a healthier, more nutritious version of Oreos that even Ellie's friend Natalie, who's allergic to eggs, can enjoy.
At school Ellie was happy to hand the cookies to her teacher Nicole for safe keeping.. and was so excited about them she ran up and down the hallway outside the preschool room before I could even get her gym shoes on her.
I can only imagine what Sunday will be like during her party.
