Story Time & Sock Hoppin'

This morning when I went in to get Ellie dressed all she wanted to do was read her princess books. She got through all three of them (the big ones in her room) on her own -- having memorized a few pages and being able to talk through the general ideas of others. She was having so much fun there I left to take a shower and came back to find her still reading.






Once we got to school Ellie and Joe began their usual silliness. Ellie's shoe came off and she just had to tell Joe. "Hey, Joe! Look at this! My shoe came off! Isn't that silly?!"



That's when Joe decided to join the shoeless (on one foot only, though) party. As I was walking out the two of them were hopping around in one sock and one shoe each.
