Shopping for Breakfast

This morning Ellie turned getting ready for breakfast into a fun activity. As soon as we got downstairs Ellie started playing with her shopping cart. When I asked her what she'd like for breakfast she told me, "I go shopping for my breakfast with my baby. I'll push her to the kitchen." So.. she was off.



Once in the kitchen Ellie picked out two yogurt-covered granola stars, a cup of strawberry yogurt, and a bowl of dry Cheerios because "we don't have any milk for cups drinking or cereal right now."









As we were getting ready to leave for school Ellie decided she wanted to wear her pink princess cap. A fine choice on a warm day like today.. 50 degrees. Tomorrow, though, when it's 30 degrees colder and snowing that one won't work as well.


Outside the Schraffts Center Ellie and I played a little Hide-and-Seek around a lamp post.
