"I have this cake! Yea!"

Here are some pictures of Ellie's memorable dessert at the Palatine (IL.) Baker's Square from last Friday.

We all headed there for lunch with Great Grandma Kost after landing in Chicago.. and spending the morning hanging out and playing -- with Ellie running in circles in Great Grandma's condo.



Ellie quickly became enthralled with the pie case, though she kept calling them cakes, and then she found one that's actually meant to look like a birthday cake -- a new pie called "Celebration."



Ellie ate a good deal of that large wedge of vanilla confetti cake with layers of French silk chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. As you can see, she liked it quite a bit.
