Mallie's Treat

This morning (after *two* successful trips to the potty!) Ellie took a bigger interest than usual in helping me take care of Mallie.

She filled up her food bowl and set it down on Mallie's mat, as usual, but then also asked if Mallie could have "a birthday treat" after spotting the treat jar up on the counter. Mallie enjoyed those.. and then Ellie enjoyed looking at Mallie through her sunglasses -- while brushing her for a little bit, too.










It is raining again today and as we stepped off the bus outside school Ellie remarked, "No sprinklers on today. Flowers get drink of water from the rain. I get drink of water from the rain, too!" So that's what she's doing in those pictures.









"Now I grow up big, too!"
